What you need to know...

Wednesday May 2nd we have a J.V. game at Sky View High School.  We will be meeting at BRHS at 3 pm and then car pool over to Cache Valley for the game which begins at 5:30 pm.

We also have a game on Thursday May 3rd at Northridge High School.  Players will meet at 1:30 to leave at 1:45 pm for the game.  Game time is 5 pm.  Players need to get to the field and begin running drills, warm-ups and stretching.  Parents that will be driving need to be there to load up players and leave at 1 :45 as well.

Players be ready in full gear and on the field warming up by 3:00 pm.

Parents and Fans should be at the field setting up blankets or lawn chairs, etc. at 4:30 to ensure a good spot to watch the game.

We also have the Pocatello Tournament coming up on May 4th and 5th.  We have several hotel rooms available for parents so if you would like to stay at the hotel with us please contact Coach Skinner for reservations.

Site/Location:
OK Ward Park, Pocatello.  The 3 fields are located in the middle of the Park.  You can park on either front or back of the park, please do not park on the sides of the field.  Directions to the fields:  From I-86 take exit 61.  Go south on Pocatello Road (stay right past mall).  Turn right/west on Quinn Rd.  OK Ward Park is 1 mile on the right.  (aprox address 1377 W Quinn Rd, Pocatello)  Park in front parking lot near pavilion.  PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON GRASS.
Format:
Each game will be 2-20 minute running time halves except for the last 2 min of the game.  Halftime will be 4 minutes.  Each team will have only one-1 minute time-out.  Use it wisely!   Please be prepared to go!  The score/time keepers will only be keeping score and time, sorry no stats!  For each Middle School game we will have some prepared refs but if you are able to provide a person to referee please step up.  
Once Game is Completed:
Please have your team ready to go once the previous game is complete.  Also, once your game is done, please have your team grab their belongings quickly for the next team preparing to play.  There is plenty of room in the park for your team to gather and warm-up. 
Information:
In the pavilion on the South side you can get information about Pocatello, the event etc..  We will also have a master schedule poster.
Food:
Pocatello Lacrosse will operate concessions in the OK Ward Pavilion both Friday night (incl. $5 dinner) and all day Saturday (incl. $3-5 lunch).  Sports drinks, water, nachos, BBQ Sandwiches, pizza, coffee, and baked goods will be available throughout the jamboree.  Jamboree t-shirts and hoodies will also be available for purchase.
Accommodations:  
Pocatello Lacrosse has negotiated with Best Western CottonTree Inn for the following rates:
Double queen rooms at the rate of $69 + tax (sleep 4)
Family suites (dbl queen plus sleeper sofa) at the rate of $84 + tax (sleep 6)

and mention that you are with Pocatello Lacrosse to secure your rooms before 4/20/07.  After that date, the CottonTree will honor rates on an availability basis.  Check-in is at 3 pm and check-out is at noon.  The hotel is only a few minutes from the playing fields.

From I-15, take Exit 71
From OK Ward Park:
 East on Quinn Rd, turn left on Pocatello Rd.  Go East on I-86, then South on I-15, take Exit 71. 
Friday Night All-Team Social:  
Pocatello Lacrosse has reserved a hospitality room at the CottonTree Inn.  Players can watch Lacrosse DVD’s, enjoy Xbox or PlayStation gaming, and have light snacks provided by Pocatello Lacrosse from 9:30 – 11 pm on Friday night.
